Who Benefits
Our sevices effect more people than you'd think. Our service counsels over 5000 individuals and families each year, and our education programs reach an additional 5000 people yearly. Furthermore, our repayment programs return over 40 million dollars per year to the credit community, much of which may have been otherwise lost to bankruptcy.
Client
Consumer Credit clients are rescued from credit worries, and relieved of creditor calls, repossessions and garnishments. Our Debt Consolidation and Management Programs liquidate debts without further borrowing in that the client cannot borrow his or her way out of debt. Reduced monthly payments put a little breathing room into tight budgets, while reduced interest rates make repayment viable in a much shorter period of time as creditor concessions become available.
Creditor
Credit grantors receive payments on a regular and shortened schedule, thus reducing collection expenses, the need for legal action, and customer bankruptcy. Participating creditors also create goodwill with their customers creating loyal consumers who will surely patronize those companies that lent a helping in the client's time of need.
Employer
Employees receive fewer collection calls and garnishments on the job, avoiding an administrative nightmare for employers and resulting in better production and attendance records. Debt or gambling problems left unaided may also contribute to higher rates of embezzlement or theft.
Community
Money is recovered that may otherwise be lost to bankruptcy. Consumer Credit's Debt Consolidation and Management Programs are instrumental in helping to reduce the number of bankruptcies filed, saving the business community, and ultimately consumers the burden of these losses. There are also additional costs that arise from an increase in rates of alcohol/drug abuse, gambling, marital breakdowns, child abuse and suicide when financial anxieties go unaided. Our counselors are trained to identify many of these problems and refer our clients on to additional sources of help.
